A visit to the Human Rights Defender’s office of RA

On May 16, 2024, as part of the event "Provision of day care services for children," 20 participants from the "SOS Children's Villages" "Yerevan" branch's Family Strengthening Program (10-15 years old) visited to the Human Rights Defender's office of Armenia, where they met with Human Rights Defender Anahit Manasyan and staff representatives.

During the meeting, the children learned about the powers of the Human Rights Defender office in terms of child rights protection. They discussed the child rights set out in the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child.

The children outlined issues related to the protection of their rights.

The children were given brochures about human rights as well as the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC).
