Meeting on the occasion of International Family Day

According to a decision of the United Nations General Assembly on September 20, 1993, May 15 was declared as International Family Day.

The International Family Day has been celebrated in Armenia since 2011. For 17 years the SOS Children's Villages Armenian Charity Foundation through the Family Strengthening Program has supported families in difficult life situations.

This year on the occasion of the International Family Day, the “Yerevan” branch of the “SOS Children's Villages” Armenian Charity Foundation organized a meeting with 14 families of the Family Strengthening Program who has achieved success due to the active cooperation with Foundation. During the meeting the families spoke about their difficulties before the inclusion in the Family Strengthening Program; they gave a great importance to the support of the professional team in their success.
